Last evening's class was very informative. The presentations were well developed and delivered. However, there were a few remarks that seemed to be quite stereotypical and somewhat offensive. As a minority in the class, I think that more attention needs to be given to generalizations of specific classes or ethnic groups. The fact of the matter is that you can never be too certain of who is directly or indirectly related to whom. Just my personal feelings.
